• Cord blood collection bag with 1.6mm (16GA) needle containing 35 ml CPDA-1 anticoagulant solution for collection of 250ml of blood
• 3 Sterile gauze swabs 7.5cm x 7.5cm
• 2 Alcohol Free wipes
• Scissors (sterile)
• Sterile gloves
• 95 kPa plastic bag with hermetic quick lock (Pathoseal bag)
• Gelpacks for temperature control during transportation.
• White absorbent cloth (for transportation)
• Polystyrene box for transport
• Dostinex (Cabergoline) 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg tablets
• DHL courier bag
• Client Identification form. (to be sent with sample)
• Procurement form. (to be signed by the person who performs the collection and given back to the mother or birthing partner)
